There are moments in history when the people of God are called to more than quiet faith. Moments when heaven is inviting believers to rise, stand firm, and advance into the promises God has already declared.
This is one of those moments.
The cross was never meant to make believers passive. It calls us to courage. And right now, the body of Christ is being invited to move past fear, stand in spiritual authority, and take the ground God has promised.
This Is a Moment to Stand in Spiritual Authority
In a world obsessed with approval—likes, followers, applause—it’s easy to believe that validation from people defines your value.
But heaven measures something entirely different.
The cross.
The cross doesn’t flatter our image. It calls us higher. It strips away the polished versions of ourselves and invites us into something far more powerful: transformation.
Jesus isn’t interested in the version of you that performs for the crowd. He loves the raw, courageous, surrendered version of you that is willing to follow Him wherever He leads. In Revelation 3:19, Jesus says, “Those whom I love, I rebuke and discipline.” His love is not passive—it is refining. It shapes us into people who can carry authority, courage, and truth in a world desperate for all three.
Adversity has always been part of God’s refining process.
Gold is purified in fire, and the people of God are refined in seasons of pressure. The enemy would love nothing more than for believers to focus on fear, confusion, or discouragement. But heaven is doing something very different.
God is preparing His people to carry weight—spiritual weight, kingdom authority, and the courage to advance where the enemy once held ground.
This is not a season to retreat.
It is the season to rise.
The challenges we face are not evidence that God has abandoned His promises. They are often the very places where He is preparing us to possess them.
The Cross Is a Call to Courage, Not Comfort
When Jesus said, “Take up your cross and follow Me,” He was not inviting us into comfort. He was inviting us into courage.
The cross represents surrender, yes—but it also represents victory.
It reminds us that the enemy’s greatest weapon, death, was overturned by the greatest triumph in history. Through the cross, Jesus disarmed darkness and opened the way for His people to walk in freedom and authority.
To carry your cross today means refusing to live intimidated by fear. It means choosing obedience over comfort and destiny over distraction.
It means believing that what God has promised, He will fulfill.
The Word of God Is the Sword in Your Hand
You have not been sent into this moment defenseless.
God has placed something powerful in your hands: His Word.
Ephesians 6:17 calls it the sword of the Spirit. A sword is not ornamental. It is a weapon meant to be wielded.
Too often believers treat Scripture as something to simply read or study. But the Word of God is alive. It confronts lies, dismantles strongholds, and establishes truth.
When the enemy whispers fear, the Word declares victory.
When culture promotes confusion, the Word speaks clarity.
When circumstances seem overwhelming, the Word reminds us that God’s promises still stand.
This is how the people of God take ground—not through fear, but through faith.
Stand Firm and Step Into Destiny
We are living in a moment that requires courage.
The Church cannot afford to be passive or silent. We are called to stand firm in the authority Christ has given us and move forward into the territory He has promised.
That means laying down fear.
That means refusing intimidation.
That means remembering that the victory of Jesus was never meant to stay in history—it was meant to empower His people today.
You were not created to live cautiously on the sidelines of faith.
You were created to advance the kingdom of God.
To stand. To speak. To take the ground God has placed before you.
And that requires courage.
If you are ready to step into the authority God has given you and move past fear into the destiny He has prepared, I want to invite you to go deeper in Girls with Swords. In it, I share how women can rise in spiritual strength, wield the Word of God with confidence, and stand firm in the authority Christ has entrusted to them.
Because the time for hesitation is over.
It’s time for women of faith to rise.
